CWJ, in association with LawWorks, a charity which aims to provide free legal help to individuals and community groups have set up monthly advice clinics offering FREE, confidential, general legal advice for members of the public who cannot afford to pay for legal advice and who do not qualify for legal aid. These clinics are run by our trainee solicitors.
Free advice can be provided on the following areas:-
- Debt recovery and bankruptcy
- Basic contract claims
- Advice to tenants
- Family matter
- Consumer and small claims
- Advice to employees
We can offer appointments between 12.30pm and 2pm on the first Monday of each month. Each appointment will last up to 45 minutes and will take place at our offices in Orpington.
We are also able to give advice by telephone where deemed appropriate.
We are unable to take on a case or provide representation. We will give details of other legal advice services where you may be able to obtain assistance.
