Valiant Financial Consultants Limited was established in 2000 with the specific aim of providing independent financial advice to clients of CWJ. The formation of Valiant has been a positive step forward in expanding the range of services to which you can have access through CWJ.
Independent, quality advice is essential these days. However, the financial services industry is a maze of products and product providers and finding your way around is not always easy. There are so many individuals offering ‘financial advice’ you have to take great care in choosing, and it is not an easy decision.
Valiant’s highly qualified consultants can provide advice and look after your investments, linking in with other advice you may receive from us regarding say, your wills and tax planning.
Valiant does not make a charge for an initial meeting with a prospective new client. At this first meeting Valiant’s consultant will need to understand your objectives and will ask you questions to establish your current financial position. The consultant will also be able to explain what services are available and how he may assist you. You are free to ask as many questions as you wish in order to find out about Valiant’s business and satisfy yourself that Valiant is the right adviser for you.
Valiant is a fee only business and therefore completely independent. Valiant will agree a fee for the work it undertakes before starting work for you. If Valiant also receives a commission from the product provider when you buy a product, Valiant will pass on the commission to you in one or more ways. For example, Valiant could reduce its fee, or reduce your product charges, or increase your investment amount, or refund the commission to you.
If you would like to discuss your financial needs or review your current investments/life assurance arrangements, please call or email for a free initial consultation.
Please note that Valiant's activities are not regulated by the Law Society and that the statutory protection given to clients of solicitors is not available, although the relevant protections under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 is, of course, available. Please also note that Valiant is partly owned by a number of our partners and some of our partners are directors of the company.
