WHY CWJ? As you are aware this is a very technical area of law requiring specific expertise and experience. Should the family use their own solicitors and not a specialist law firm there is a risk that the law firm they use may not have the legal expertise and knowledge to deal with the complexities and obstacles commonly encountered. This can result in delays in the finalisation of the Estate, causing the family and yourselves will have to wait longer before receiving payment.
OUR CHARGES Whilst many solicitors charge a percentage of the Estate for their work, we charge on the basis of an hourly rate only. This means that the family will receive a larger inheritance and consequently you will receive a greater commission from the estate.
OUR SERVICE The family will, of course, be our client however at CWJ we recognise the role played by the genealogist and believe in maintaining contact and keeping you informed. You will find us approachable and happy to speak to you at any time.
Clients recommended to us by genealogists are afforded the same care as those for whom we have been acting for many years, particularly if they are not familiar with the process of obtaining Letters of Administration.
We have acted for Administrators all over the UK . In the case of Administrators living abroad, a partner of this firm can act as an Attorney so that Letters of Administration may be taken out as quickly as possible.
