CWJ is a founding member of the Bromley Community Fund (BCF), a charitable venture set up to support the borough now and long into the future. Donations given to the fund are invested as an endowed fund with the interest used to make charitable grants. The fund has just made its first grants to local charities. Details of the beneficiaries can be seen here.
There is a £250,000 of match funding available from the government to the BCF which means that all gifts from companies and individuals can be matched on a pound for pound basis by the government. The match funding available runs out in March 2011 so the generosity of businesses and individuals living and working in Bromley is really needed.
