CWJ has recently welcomed the arrival of three new trainee solicitors to the firm. Joanne Wilson, Vicky McDonald and Ben Pepper joined on 1 September 2011.
Congratulations to Nick Pace who completed his training contract on 31 August and will be assuming the title of Solicitor from 1 September 2011.

During November 2010 we took part in Will Aid for the second year running. Will Aid is a charity will making scheme which helps people in need around the world by supporting nine partner charities.

Janice O'Flaherty has recently celebrated 30 years at CWJ working on the reception desk and switchboard throughout.

On 21 May 2010 CWJ entered four teams to 'walk around the world'. The challenge, which lasted for sixteen weeks, involved the seven members from each team wearing a pedometer everyday to record how many steps they took in their day to day lives.

CWJ are pleased to announce that Helen Smith qualified as a solicitor on 1 September 2010. Helen joined CWJ in September 2008 as a trainee solicitor and has successfully completed her training contract.

Andrew Wright (our managing partner) and Will Addis (Head of Employment) have both recently completed triathlons, one of Britain's fastest growing sports which seems to attract men in their 30s and 40s (like Will and Andrew!)

CWJ has been a main sponsor of Westcombe Park Rugby Club for a number of years, so we were delighted when we heard that Nick Pace, a trainee solicitor at the firm was to have a taste of playing for the club's 1st XV team.

CWJ are taking up the Global Corporate Challenge, a corporate health initiative that runs over 16 weeks from 21 May 2010. Twenty-eight members of staff will be taking part with the aim of achieving 10,000 steps daily.
