A group of CWJ lawyers attended the Bromley & District Law Society Annual Dinner held at the House of Commons on 6th June. The evening kicked off with drinks on the terrace overlooking the Thames. Despite the constant drizzle of rain we enjoyed stunning views across Central London and were keen to soak up the atmosphere.
After supper the speeches were delivered. Deepak Gupta, an associate in CWJ’s Commercial Property department, spoke in his new role as Vice President of the Society introducing the guests who were various members of the local judiciary. He then thanked MP for Chislehurst & Bromley Robert Neill for his hospitality. Robert Neill then went on to speak and express his pleasure at being involved with the Society.
A few last drinks were had on the terrace as the evening drew to a close. The event was very enjoyable and it was a great pleasure and privilege to spend an evening in such stunning surroundings.
