CWJ has won the Best Website of the Year Award at the 2011 LawNet Annual Conference.
The award was presented to Amanda Mehlin by Michael Portillo at a ceremony following the conference.
The judges had the following to say about the CWJ award submission:
"After much debate the winning entry has gone to a website that has undergone a complete overhaul in the last year resulting in an impressive increase in traffic.
Their search engine positioning on Google for a range of relevant search phrases is consistently high; the site is clear, easy to navigate and maximises the opportunity to use social media and networking to keep in touch with their clients whilst also improving their search engine optimisation. The site also brings added value for existing clients, by hosting webinars on key topics."
On receiving the award, Amanda Mehlin said “it is fantastic that the CWJ website has been recognised following the redesign of the site in June. A lot of work has gone in to increase visitor numbers and keep content updated regularly with relevant and interesting news articles. Our new social media pages are also attracting an increasing number of visitors each month, which allows CWJ to engage with clients in a different way.”
