General Power of Attorney

You will prepare the Power of Attorney based on a number of questions and answers. As you work through the documents have in mind the information provided in this guidance note.

On the next page you will start to complete the document. Please note that it is possible to prepare the document without having to pay for it first by clicking the preview box. When you are happy with the document you can pay for it. Your Power of Attorney is then e-mailed to this office. We will then telephone you to discuss your document in more detail. If any changes need to be made we will discuss any additional costs involved before finalising the document.

This document is simpler than the Lasting Power of Attorney. However it will become void should you become mentally incapable of managing your affairs. For this reason we would only recommend it if you want to appoint someone to look after your affairs when you are otherwise unable to act eg whilst abroad.

CWJ can act as your Attorney if you do not wish to appoint anybody else.
