Our online cost is £99. Included in the price is the storage of your will*
You can also register your will with Certainty. This is an online service which records where your will is stored for future reference. If you register your will with Certainty direct there would be a charge of £30.00. Because we are members of the organisation we charge a reduced fee of £24.00. If you would like this service please tick the appropriate option when you come to pay for your will.
You will prepare the will based on a number of questions and answers. As you work through the document have in mind the information provided in this guidance note.
Please click "Get Started". You will then start to prepare the will. When you are happy with the documents you can pay for them. Your will is then e-mailed to this office. We will then telephone you to discuss your document in more detail. If any changes need to be made we will discuss any additional costs involved before finalising the document.
You need to consider the following:
- Executors. If you are leaving money to young children you will need more than one Executor. It is important that they are trustworthy. You may want to have professional Trustees. Click here for information on the CWJ Estates Service.
- Gifts. These could be:
- money to a favourite charity or to an individual or
- specific items eg your personal jewellery.
You may want to make a gift to your Executor in return for acting on your behalf.
- Residue. This can be to an individual, a group of individuals or to charity. You need to specify what share they are taking and consider what would happen if they die before you. You can state that the share goes to the deceased’s children or back to the surviving beneficiaries.
* Please see our Charter for the terms and conditions for the storage of wills and other documents
