Hamish completed undergraduate studies in Ethics and Politics at an Australian university before enjoying a varied career in government, UK investment banking and offshore corporate and fiduciary services.
In order to finalise his career transition to qualified solicitor, Hamish completed a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at BPP Law School in London before joining CWJ in September 2010. In September 2012, he will qualify into our Corporate and Commercial Department as a solicitor.
Hamish’s legal interests are diverse and include a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial law. He has an interest in renewable energy law, in particular Feed-In Tariff (FIT) payments for PV (solar cell) systems, including the implications of grants, and he works with CWJ clients in this area.
In his spare time Hamish enjoys playing guitar, writing and recording music, travel and tinkering with audio electronics.
