Kate joined the Commercial Property team at CWJ as a paralegal in August 2007, where she worked on development sales, lease extensions, and freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. Whilst working as a paralegal for CWJ, Kate studied the Legal Practice Course part time at the College of Law in London and finished her studies in June 2008, gaining a distinction.
Kate began her training contract with CWJ in September 2008 and qualified into the Wills and Administration of Estates department in March 2010. In January 2012 Kate moved back to the Property department. Kate now deals with both commercial and residential property transactions. Kate is able to assist with enquiries regarding lease extensions, leasehold enfranchisements, rights to manage and rights of first refusal in relation to residential leases.
Outside work Kate is currently studying for a Masters in Law. She also enjoys boxercise and dance classes and is a member of a book group at her local library.
