Kate graduated from the University of Exeter with a 2:1 Honours degree in Law in 2003.
Before joining CWJ Kate gained approximately 2 years of paralegal experience in the field of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence with firms in Exeter and Bromley.
Kate joined the Commercial Property team at CWJ as a paralegal in August 2007, where she worked on development sales, lease extensions, and freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. Whilst working as a paralegal for CWJ, Kate studied the Legal Practice Course part time at the College of Law in London and finished her studies in June 2008, gaining a distinction.
Kate began her training contract with CWJ in September 2008 and qualified into the Wills and Administration of Estates department in March 2010.
Outside work Kate is currently studying for a Masters in Law in the fields of trusts and taxation. Kate is hoping to be able to apply her knowledge to her work in the department when helping clients with wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney.
Kate also enjoys boxercise and dance classes and is a member of a book group at her local library.
