Rosa Brennan


PROFILE

Rosa joined the employment law team in July 2007 after working in High Street firms in Croydon and Sidcup.

Rosa has a varied employment background which includes working as a legal assistant in the legal department at ICI; an adviser for the Citizens Advice Bureau and a benefits adviser for London & Quadrant Housing Trust. She qualified as a solicitor at Atkins Hope in Croydon in 1998 and also has an MA in Law and Employment Relations.

Rosa is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Discrimination Law Association, she sat as a lay member of the employment tribunal for 10 years.  She is a Trustee of Bromley Women’s Aid.

Rosa has experience of employment law from all angles. She has a high success rate in defending and settling tribunal claims on behalf of companies ranging from SME’s to PLC’s. She also has a high success rate in acting for employees in claims against their employers for unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, breach of contract, whistle-blowing, equal pay and discrimination. In addition, she is an employer, being a Trustee of a charity and also sat on the Employment Tribunal as a lay member.
