Career Progression At CWJ

Clarkson Wright & Jakes is delighted to announce that it has promoted two of its solicitors to senior lawyers as of 1 May 2021.

Kate Horley started her training contract with CWJ in September 2014, qualifying in the Personal Injury department in September 2016. Kate primarily works for claimants and has experience in a variety of cases involving clinical negligence and personal injury.

Omari Elcock joined CWJ as a solicitor in the Commercial Property team in September 2017. Omari’s areas of expertise include property development, the acquisition and disposal of both freehold and leasehold land as well as landlord and tenant matters.

Commenting on the promotions, Managing Partner, Amanda Mehlin, said “For CWJ it is important to retain, reward and recognise high calibre, talented individuals. These promotions recognise the key roles that Kate and Omari play in our business and their contributions to the success of the firm. We are delighted to be able to promote them to more senior positions".
