Jeremy Wilson, Samantha Doherty and David Harris have all volunteered to be Dementia Friends Champions which means they have undergone training with the Alzheimer's Society Dementia Friends programme, to provide one-hour information sessions to help members of the public understand what it might be like to live with dementia to help make the area more dementia friendly and improve the lives of some of the 670,000 people currently living with the condition.
They will be delivering Dementia Friends sessions to people across the Orpington area over the coming months on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 2.30pm at our offices. Click here for details of where we are.
