CWJ Continue Sponsorship of Westcombe Park RFC Mini's Festival

Clarkson Wright & Jakes is delighted to announce that it will once again be the main sponsor for this season’s Westcombe Park Mini Rugby Festival which will be held in April 2015.

Gregory Pring, organiser of Westcombe Park's showcase mini rugby event for the 2014/2015 season, commented; “A huge amount of planning is involved in organising an event of this size, and getting our old friends CWJ on board to sponsor the festival so early in the process helps us, as a club, to concentrate on the most important thing of all: ensuring a safe yet competitive environment for young rugby players to demonstrate their skills and to just have fun. Rugby is a true family sport and next year's 41st annual festival will again emphasise this. We expect over 1,600 young people aged 6-12 to participate in over 280 rugby matches on the day, with an additional 3,500+ family, friends and supporters also expected to attend. This is again a fantastic opportunity for the 20 rugby clubs from throughout the Greater London and Southeast regions, including Westcombe Park, to allow their young players to be involved in a sport which they undoubtedly enjoy. My sincere thanks again to CWJ for their continued sponsorship of our festival."

The annual mini’s festival is important in the progression and development of young rugby players throughout the region as well as at the club. One example is inside centre; Niki Davies who recently played his 150th National League Match for Westcombe Park having represented the club at the mini’s level a few years ago.

Westcombe Park is always keen to attract further sponsorship from businesses, both local and regional, or any donations from individuals to add to existing club sponsors and advertisers. Sponsorship can cost as little as £250 per season, for more sponsorship information, please contact Chairman of Marketing Denes Nemestothy via denes@westcombeparkrugby.co.uk.
