PROFILE
Michelle qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1998. In her previous role as a defence clinical negligence lawyer handling claims for the NHS, she was involved in high value claims arising out of catastrophic injuries, as well more general negligence cases.
She joined Clarkson Wright and Jakes' Personal Injury team in June 2005 to specialise in personal injury and clinical negligence work.
Her interests include cycling, walking, running, going to the gym and DIY.
HIGHLIGHTS
Before joining Clarkson Wright & Jakes, Michelle acted for more than 1,200 claimants as part of the Nationwide Organ Retention Litigation team. This involved analysing large amounts of data (spanning some 60 years) and pursuing complex legal arguments. Michelle's other recent cases included peritonitis during an operation and wrongful birth.
