The process of writing a Will during the UK lockdown
Many of our clients prefer having a face-to-face meeting to discuss making a Will however, under the current circumstances this isn’t possible. We are doing everything we can to minimise any potential disruption and continue to provide the service our clients expect from us. All members of staff have secure remote access to our systems which means we are fully operational with access to client files.
We can arrange a video call with you (or telephone call if you do not have facilities for a video call) and take instructions from you. After the conversation the drafted Will can be sent to you by email or in the post for approval or amendment.
We will also advise clients on the appropriate way to get the Wills signed in the physical presence of two witnesses while still practising social distancing and minimising person-to-person contact.
