£95,000 Settlement for Woman Hit by Moped

A woman who was badly injured when she was hit by a moped has obtained compensation from the driver's insurer.

The woman was on her way to meet her sons for a Mother's Day dinner when the accident happened. She was knocked to the floor when the moped collided with her. She sustained broken ribs, a broken tibia and injuries to her face, and spent two and a half weeks in hospital.

She continues to suffer from chronic pain and finds trying to get around her home particularly painful. She used to do Pilates and go to the gym before the accident but now finds these activities too difficult.

She sought legal advice and brought a claim against the moped driver's insurer. A settlement of £95,000 was secured.
